This fabric is a specialized, lightweight, and highly flexible PVC-coated polyester material engineered for the construction of temporary and permanent ventilation ducting (lay-flat tubing). The material features a smooth internal surface to minimize airflow friction and reduce energy consumption. It is formulated for superior tear resistance and maintains high seam strength, essential for withstanding the internal pressure and continuous movement typical of mining, tunneling, and heavy construction environments. The fabric is often required to be fire-retardant (FR) and anti-static for safety compliance.
