The material features an opaque black backing (to absorb stray light) and a highly uniform, low-gain white or grey front surface optimized for image clarity, color fidelity, and minimal hot-spotting. The material is manufactured to extremely tight tolerance on flatness, ensuring a perfectly smooth, wrinkle-free surface that is paramount for high-definition video projection applications.
