The key selection criterion is the required Surface Resistivity level for the specific ESD control application.

• ESD Requirement: Match the required Surface Resistivity (Ω/sq) to the specific ESD control standard (e.g., 109 for static dissipative areas).

• Transparency: Decide between standard clear film for maximum light and tinted (e.g., yellow) for applications requiring UV filtration.

• Durability: Thicker gauges (1.0mm) are preferred for high-traffic strip doors where mechanical wear is a concern.

Manufacturing and Tailoring

We ensure uniform dispersion of the conductive anti-static agents throughout the casting process.

• Resistivity Testing: Every roll is tested using an electrode probe meter to verify that the Surface Resistivity falls within the guaranteed range (109−1011Ω/sq).

  A: We can supply rolls up to 1.8 meters wide. For wider barriers, the film can be easily joined using radio frequency (RF) welding techniques while maintaining the anti-static property in the seam area.
