Material Selection Guide

Selecting the appropriate embossed film requires careful coordination of texture, color, and process compatibility.

• Pattern Selection: Choose the embossing depth based on the required material simulation; deeper embossing is suitable for rustic wood or coarse stone looks.

• Process Method: For 3D vacuum forming, select a flexible grade (0.30mm−0.40mm); for flat panel lamination, a thicker, more rigid material may be suitable.

• Wear Resistance: Consider integrating a clear wear layer or hard coat on top of the decorative layer for high-contact surfaces (e.g., tabletops).

Manufacturing and Tailoring

We manage an extensive library of embossing plates and utilize heated calender rolls for pattern transfer.

• Pattern Matching: We ensure precise alignment between the printed decorative layer and the embossed texture (Registered Embossing) for enhanced realism.
